I'm confused with a project I'm doing for class. I'm told to do an adjusting entry for store supplies. The trial balance says 550 and the income statement says 240. Does this mean 240 of the 550 was used or 240 plus the 550? I don't understand how to read this to do the statements for the end of the next month. Your example makes sense to me because of the purchase but in this case this is all the info I have. 🤔

Hi, Balance for Change in Equity "Begining of the Year" I think should be 278,800 but you have it at 278,400? Not sure I'm also not sure why profit for the year was 17,100 but then changed in the total colum to 17,000.
